Girls club Ghana stands for integrity and hope to have an impact on the lives of people especially adolescent girls and young women, helping them to become resourceful through creativity and allaying misconception. We have been working in partnership with Individuals and Non-Profit Organizations. We also aim to educate girls and women on menstruation and menstrual hygiene materials.

About Girls Club Ghana
What We Do
Girls Club Ghana is a female - lead NGO focusing on female empowerment. Our dream is to provide adolescent girls with the knowledge and resources to manage their themselves during menstruation. It is sited at Anyanui - Dzita Agbledomi in Anloga District of the Volta Region of Ghana.
AIMS
- Our aim is to educate adolescent girls on sensitive health related issues
- empower young adolescent girls to express their views on menstruation and menstrual hygiene materials,
- providing sustainable menstrual hygiene materials to use during menstruation and empowering adolescents to become self-reliant by equipping them with requisite skills, knowledge and avenue that promote self-confident and sustainable activities.
Girls Club Ghana stands for integrity and hope, giving adolescent girls the resources and understanding they need to manage their menstrual hygiene. We also aim to allay misconceptions and mythical notions about adolescent female child education and educating them on changes during Puberty including menstruation.
Objectives
Partnering with other local and international communities to:-
- providing and educating the adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene materials
- Identify and solve educational problems that adolescent girls face
- Reduce the high rate of teenage pregnancy through education.
- Encourage self- reliance among adolescent girls

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE
At the onset of this year 2022, We have started a Social Enterprise also by registering it with the Company Registrar General of Ghana bearing Registration number BN924011121 which produces Coconut & Ginger Flakes. The objective of this Social Enterprise is to create job opportunities for women & young girls. Currently 2 young girls are being permanently employed. The products produced by this Social Enterprise are of high quality & has been approved by the Food & Drug Authority of Ghana. By the close of this year we aim to employ around 10 young women as we are also looking forward to export the products.
